The Miami coaching staff has been hunting for a proven college center since the loss of prospect Conner Lew. On Sunday, Miami landed the commitment of former UCF offensive center Matt Lee.

At 6’-4”/295, Matt was a two year starter for the Knights and is considered one of the best centers in college In 2022, Matt registered 1,059 snaps with a PFF overall grade of 83.7, including an elite 90.6 pass blocking grade and a very strong 80.6 run blocking grade. He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Matt is Miami’s fifth transfer pickup this cycle, joining OL Javion Cohen, LB Francisco Mauigoa,  CB Davonte Brown and DT Thomas Gore.
