 “FOG of WAR”
     December 9, 2022

It’s that time of year. The last few weeks before pen meets paper. It’s also an anxious time for college coaching staffs as they try to lock down their recruiting class.

During this time period, there are many rumors floating around about last minute “flips” or final pushes for a talented prospect. It’s called the “Fog of War.”

The term originated during war time when last minute rumors among the troops caused doubt and unwanted reaction. It’s no different in college football’s recruiting wars.

As has been the custom of TheCaneReport, we track such rumors and try to determine if they are fact or fiction.

So buckle up those seat belts. It’s always a wide ride to signing day.

Check back here often to get the latest rumors.
