7/17/20: WDE Jabari Ishmael (Miami, FL – Columbus) announced his verbal commitment to Miami on Friday evening. Ishmael chose Miami over Oregon and Florida State. At 6’-5/210, Jabari is rated 91, ranked the #14 WDE and the #216 overall prospect in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite.
In 2019, the 4-star Ishmael made 46 tackles and 3 sacks on the way to leading Columbus to an 8A state title. He earned a Miami Herald 8A-6A All-Dade second-team selection.
Jabari is the 18th commitment to the Canes’ 2021 recruiting class, now ranked 12th in the nation.
