At 6’-1”/205, Deshawn is rated 85 and is the #38 ILB in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite. He brings speed and striking ability to the LB room. Originally from the Miami area, Deshawn grew up a Canes fan and always dreamed of playing for his hometown team. Deshawn becomes the 14th verbal commitment to the Canes class, now ranked #13 in the country.
