Transfer WR Dont’e Thorton to OV

12/14/22: Former Oregon wide receiver Dont’e Thorton (Baltimore, MD - Mt. St. Joe) will officially visit Miami this weekend (Dec. 16-18) before the “dead period” takes affect on Monday.

At 6’-5”/ 200, Thorton was rated 97, ranked the #7 WR and #57 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting class.

Dont'e was recruited and signed by Mario Cristobal at Oregon. In his two years with the Ducks, he has caught 24 passes for 518 yards and three touchdowns.

Dont’e is a red zone threat with sure hands. Miami is looking for a increased size in their wide receiver room.
