LB Terrence Lewis hits portal

11/30/21: Maryland LB Terrence Lewis has entered the transfer portal.
There is some buzz he wants to come home and play for Miami. The Canes have a big need for additional linebackers, so it would make sense. However, Lewis had some questionable off-field behavior as a high school senior. He has had no such issues at Maryland this year.
Lewis did not play as a freshman due to an ACL injury suffered in his senior year of high school and discovered when he arrived in College Park.
Lewis would have four years of eligibility remaining. At 6’-1”/200, Lewis was rated 98, ranked the #1 LB and #21 overall prospect in the 2021 recruiting class.
Would the Canes be interested?
