Canes drop 4th in a row


5/1/22: Miami (31-12, 16-7 ACC) lost their fourth game in a row to Georgia Tech, 7-5 on Saturday.
With a 5-2 lead in the fourth inning, Canes starter Karson Ligon (5-3) gave up four runs and the lead. Ligon (5-3) finished giving up six runs on seven hits in 3 2/3 innings.
Max Romero led Miami’s attack with two home runs.
Miami will try to avoid a sweep by Yellow Jackets as the three-game series concludes on Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. first pitch. ACCNX to provide coverage.
