Bubba Bolden cleared to play on October 5th

9/17/19: Miami learned transfer safety Bubba Bolden has been cleared by the ncaa to play beginning October 5th against Virginia Tech. HC Manny Diaz, appearing Monday on WQAM-560’s The Joe Rose Show, made the announcement public.

“Bubba will be back for the Virginia Tech game,” Diaz stated. “We found that out before we went to North Carolina. He will become eligible then and everything will be good to go before Virginia Tech. This is the last game he will miss.”

Bolden transferred to Miami in January from USC through the new transfer portal system.
